Revoland closed seed round and pre-sale 10m

Revoland, an emerging MOBA NFT game, has successfully closed seed and pre-sale rounds with a $10.6 million investment.

The participation of well-known players

HashKey Capital and Polygon Ventures led the $10.6 million fundraise, which included 14 other crypto venture capital firms. Tian Ge Interactive, AKG Venture, LinkVC, Arcanum Capital, Atlas Capital, Crypto Nord, and PlayPark are among some of the investors. Others include MX investment, One Block Capital, AW Capital, Phemex Venture, Winston International, Gene Vision, and Yield Master.

Revoland is an e-sport, Play-to-Earn game for the mobile platforms iOS and Android, based on the Binance Smart Chain, developed by London-based metaverse game development company Chain X Game, led by Jimmy Zhao. In addition to being the CEO and co-founder of Chain X Game, Zhao is also a crypto investor, blockchain consultant, and entrepreneur, founding several different blockchain and crypto companies, such as Zillion Bits AG, and ZBX.

In this P2E game, you can gather your friends, form a team, battle with others, and earn token rewards with just your skills. The gameplay in Revoland is meant to focus on the combination of your own abilities and teamwork. Challenge yourself with several game modes, including Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (shortened most of the time to MOBA) and Battle Royale, which’ll include regular monthly updates and appealing awards.

Once new users log-in to the game for the first time, they will get three Heroes for free, and can then use these Heroes to play the six different game modes (from team-based PvP matches to solo PvP modes) to earn reward tokens. These tokens can then be used (after exchanging them for the governance first) to unlock more Heroes from the Revoland NFT Marketplace.

In the game’s marketplace, users can buy and open Hero Mystery Boxes (the primary way to obtain more Heroes) or Pet Mystery Boxes (which multiple pets can be used in conjunction with a Hero to enhance their skills), either directly from the game or from other players. And like most other games, the marketplace will also allow players to directly buy and/or trade various Heroes, special Skins for every hero, and Pets.

Revoland is focused on developing the next generation of blockchain games, which Zhao believes will play a crucial role in accelerating the adoption of Web3.

Zhao commented on Revoland’s seed and pre-sale fundraising, saying, “With Revoland, we’ve created a space where players will have full control over their in-game assets, take an active part in the construction of the game ecosystem, promote its development, and act as its governors through leveraging REVO, our governance token.”

About Revoland

Revoland employs a duo-tokenomic system, with $REVO serving as the governance token and $LAND serving as the in-game token. $LAND can be obtained by playing the game, and once obtained, it can be transferred to your wallet. The amount of the $LAND bonus in each battle depends on the trophy class and hero rarity. Players can earn $LAND if they rank up or when they participate in a Championship Road. When the number of crowns in Championship Road reaches a certain level, players can receive the corresponding LAND tokens. The LAND Token ($LAND) is the main currency used in Revoland’s operations. $LAND is used for a variety of purposes, including Hero and Skin upgrading, purchasing HP for heroes, and rewarding Streamers.

The Revoland native fungible token (ticker symbol $REVO) is a transferable representation of the Revoland protocol/attributed code’s governance and utility functions, and is intended to be used solely as an interoperable utility token in the games ecosystem.

The company announced that its native $REVO token will be available to the community soon through an initial dex offering (IDO) on the GameStarter, EverStart, Bitget, and Phemex platforms. It is also scheduled to be officially listed on major exchanges, including Huobi Global, MEXC, Pancake Swap, and x.plus.

As Jimmy Zhao and Chain X Game will launch and continue to support and update Revoland for many years to come, Play-to-Earn gamers should definitely keep an eye out for this one-of-a-kind game.
