ImmutableX to launch the very own in-house Immutable Games Studio

IMX has announced the launch immutable gamestudio

Recently, Immutable X has announced the launch of their very own in-house game studio, Immutable Games Studio.

About Immutable group

Immutable, a multinational technology business, powers the Ethereum-based NFT market. They have a goal of becoming the top NFT environment, one that empowers and rewards people. Immutable, a 2018 business with a valuation of AUD $3.5 billion, is one of Australia’s fastest-growing firms to achieve unicorn status.

Immutable X and the newly found Game Studio are the current units of the Immutable Group. Immutable X, which has no gas costs and is completely carbon neutral, is the first and most popular Layer 2 scaling solution for NFTs on Ethereum. The Immutable Studio develops games using blockchain technology to enable genuine, digital ownership, such as Guild of Guardians, the world’s first NFT trading-card game, and Gods Unchained.
“The refreshed look represents where we are going, as we continue on our mission to advance the next generation of web3 games.”

Immutable X and further innovations

A further tease from Immutable hinted that “something exciting is coming very soon.” Could it be a brand-new blockchain game from Immutable Games, a recently founded studio?

The huge news surrounding Immutable is not limited to that. Immutable X has made several exciting technology breakthrough announcements as well. For instance, they have shown their end-user incentive system’s initial prototype. Trades on ANY Immutable X enabled marketplace may, for a brief time, be eligible to receive a portion of a $2 million pool. Immutable X unveiled Arch v1.0 today, just a few hours prior to the publication time of this article. Arch is Immutable X’s NFT bridge protocol between Ethereum L1 and STARKWARE’s StarkNet L2. Their first move toward a cross-rollup NFT future will be this.

A general-purpose Layer 2 rollup, StarkNet extends Ethereum and benefits from its security features. For L2s to enable the interoperable future of blockchain applications, trustless bridging of assets between layers is a crucial piece of the jigsaw.

While users often shift their cash between layers via bridges for fungible tokens (like ERC20), non-fungible token bridges are less prevalent. NFT initiatives that call for the transfer of assets between layers frequently find themselves having to develop their own custom bridging solutions with various levels of security assurances. Developers of Immutable X predict that as the cross-chain Web3 gaming and NFT-Fi ecosystems evolve, there will be an increase in demand for NFT bridging.

The guarantee of an off-ramp to Ethereum will also be advantageous for NFTs that are native to a single ecosystem, such as StarkNet. A trustless bridge seeks to address this gap by providing smooth interoperability and user choice. Every rollup or chain has distinct considerations, including scalability, decentralization, etc. To assist their mission of making virtual environments real and granting consumers ownership of digital assets, they introduce Arch v1.0, an ERC721 bridge protocol.

The bridge is originally intended to serve the simplest use case possible, which is for projects desiring to connect their L1 Ethereum NFT collections to L2 StarkNet. Future research may focus on more primitives and extensions, such as supporting more networks or connecting native L2 assets to L1.

The L1 blockchain establishes the guidelines for network security and consensus on the blockchain’s state (s), while Layer 2 are frequently referred to as solutions for scalability blockchain.
The design strives to be generic and contract-neutral, providing developers with a straightforward building block to integrate their new or current applications. Although it was first created to be compatible with ERC721 tokens, the architecture may be extended to work with other NFT standards, such as ERC1155.

Technology advances in tandem with other business growth strategies. There is a lot for the Immutable X crew to deliver.
